Or, at least the rain-part of Tropical Storm Hanna. The heavy winds have not yet hit (at least not here at my house). It's been raining for a couple of hours already, but I've noticed a marked increase in intensity in the last 20 minutes or so. The weather reporters said to expect the heaviest stuff between 11:00 am and about 2:00 pm, so this fits with that prediction. They are predicting 4-5" of rain today alone; that's usually our total for all of September.
So far, so good here. There are reports of power outages & such, but so far, I'm ok. (Of course, now that I've typed that, it's tempting fate.) As long as the electricity holds, I'll spend the day getting a feew things done around the house and maybe throw a movie or 2 on the tv.
