Saw this on Mindi's blog & since she tagged anyone who was reading and wanted to play along, I decided to give it a go.Seven Random Facts about Me:
- I collect polar bears. One of my guest rooms is designated as "The Polar Bear Room".
- I'm only 5' 1" tall. (And at that, I'm the tallest female in my immediate family. Scary, huh?)
- I love chocolate and orange together. Preferably dark chocolate.
- I've been dog sledding. With my own dogs.
- Even tho I'm a native Washingtonian, I've never been in the US Capitol or the White House. I'd graduated from high school before I ever made it up the Washington Monument.
- I've been underneath the Lincoln Memorial.
- I love ethnic food. If I'm the one picking a restaurant, I'll choose a Thai, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Afghan, Ethiopian, Greek, etc. place over a steak house every time!

i would have KILLED to be only 5 feet in high school. i was so much taller than most of the male population.
and have you ever had the chocolate oranges at christmas time? they are my FAVORITE.
I guess it's a "grass is always greener" thing -- I would like to be able to easily get things down off the top shelf at the grocery store. I'm good if they are fully stocked, but if the front one or 2 are missing, forget it!
Putting things in the overhead bin on a plane is another fun one!

I spent a month in DC and fell in love with it. I think it is my most favorite city in the US. With NYC right behind :)
I hear ya on #7--Thai food is my fave! Dog sledding, eh? I'm intrigued!
